The Technology
The package is placed on a designated tray. It doesn’t matter what shape, dimensions, or height the package has. The only important thing is that it fits within the space provided in the shipping carton. As it is fed into the machine, the tray and the package are wrapped vertically with special stretch film. Securely fastened to the corrugated tray, the package is safely shipped in the carton.
This tray packaging machine guarantees perfect product protection, fast packaging, and low costs. It also offers you maximum flexibility for small and large production runs of a wide variety of products. The packaging process remains consistent, even when dealing with a chaotic mix of packages with varying product heights and weights up to 160 kg. And best of all: you save on different packaging sizes, storage space, and time. Filling and cushioning materials are no longer needed.
Typical shipping items include gearboxes, pumps, motors, gears, drives, as well as all kinds of light and heavy spare parts; in addition, sensitive equipment components from the entire field of control, measurement, and regulation technology.
How does the concept work?
Based on your daily packaging needs, our team will develop the sizes that are right for you. You can also take advantage of our new standard product line at no tooling cost. Once you’ve reviewed the packaging and approved it, we’re ready to go. You’ll sign a supply contract for the quantities you need. Emba-Protec will then provide you with the automatic wrapping machine, including detailed training. All necessary packaging components (trays, film, shipping boxes) will be delivered to you on demand. You simply pay a fixed set price per package delivered. It goes without saying that we’re always here to assist you with any problems or requests for changes—and this is, of course, included.
